tecknoThursday, April 16, will remain memorable in the minds of hundreds of American University of Nigeria, AUN, students and a few staff of the institution.

It was the day chart-topping Nigerian singer, songwriter and creative producer, Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno, dazzled fun-lovers at a first-of-its-kind party christened Road Rage!

Organized by the Campus Activities Board, CAB, the party took place on the road beside the SGA Hut, and it came to life when AUN’s charismatic socialite, Kingsley Jima, who has a way of getting every student to move their legs and enjoy good music, hit the dance floor!

However, the highlight of the party was Tekno’s performance! Although he charmed the audience with his dashing good looks and warm smiles, the party peaked when he sang some of his biggest hits such as Duro, Wash, Panya, and many more. His performance was so electrifying that he left the audience endlessly yelling for an encore! But no; he would not perform again – he retired to his room at the AUN Hotel.

However, DJ Steeno ensured that there was never a dull moment at the party! He boomed the party continually with the best of songs, which pulled many more people to the dance floor.

The Road Rage was amazing. It was a great opportunity for students and staff to be relieved of the stress of a hectic week. It was a very colourful party too, with different colours and shapes of cars parked by the road, giving the setting a unique look.
